July 1st: Harbor Walk scavenger hunt begins.

Between King Park on Wellington Avenue and Mary Ferrazzoli Park on Long Wharf there are painted rocks waiting for you to discover. There are more rocks than listed below, so be on the look out and enjoy the adventure! We hope you take this opportunity to appreciate the importance of public access to our shoreline. Our main mission is to protect and promote public waterfront access. We invite you to consider becoming a member or donating to FOW.

Watchdogs of the Waterfront

Friends of the Waterfront (FOW) is a grass roots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1982 by concerned Newport citizens to insure continued public access to the Newport harbor front and shoreline. The major areas of concern at that time are with us today.
