Join Friends of the Waterfront (FOW) for its Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 13 at the Newport Public Library at 6:00 pm. Along with a review of the year, special guest speaker Sam Bradner, a principal of Peregrine Partners LLC will discuss his company’s plans for the future of the four-acre site in the heart of downtown Newport.
Peregrine Group/Scott’s Wharf LLC acquired the Newport Yachting Center and its wholly owned marina and parking operating entities from the Newport Harbor Corporation in December 2015. Renovations and new construction began in 2015 and will continue through 2018.

Annual Waterfront Sunset Inspection Cruise
Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 4:30pm
Departing from Oldport Marine – RAIN OR SHINE!
Come join Friends of the Waterfront’s members aboard the Amazing Grace for an end of summer sunset cruise. A professional tour guide will conduct the excursion pointing out all of the rights of way and various other sights along the Newport waterfront.
Oldport is located next to the Mooring Restaurant on America’s Cup Avenue. Tickets are $25 for current members but with 2017 renewal membership save—the cost is $20. Includes appetizers with a cash bar.
Seating is limited and tickets are sold in advance.
